The Belfast cafe was AMAZING. More than 60 people attended from both Ireland and Northern Ireland plus further afield.
Harm Reduction Cafe Reports
We love hearing about the harm reduction cafes people are having, so please get in touch with us and let us know what you talked about, what went well (and if anything went wrong). Plus share some tips for other people who might be thinking of running their own cafe.
At the end of last year we had the first derby cafe in the Quad, a great mix of people including local activists, managers and workers. We also had visitors from Leicester, Shropshire and Scotland.
The Liverpool Cafe was the first one to be held and it was a great night. We all met at The Quarter where we had kindly been allowed to use a back room.
Many of the people attending where speakers for the Hot Topics Conference (which was happening the following day). Conversations ranged from harm reduction (yes, if you get 25+ harm reduction folk in a room they will surprisingly 'talk shop') through to the characterisations in the TV series 'Neighbors' and back to mephedrone and groin injecting.
