On the 24th of November HIT held our usual pre-conference harm reduction cafe. This year it also coincided with the 30th Birthday of HIT as an organisation.
The cafe was held in Sound on Duke Street (a regular haunt of the HIT staff), and we filled the place as you can see from the photographs below. As well as the usual kinds of conversation we get at cafe events (state of the sector, social catch-ups, introductions and discussing projects) we also had two photo exhibitions playing on the cafes screens. One was by HIT's Community Manager Nigel Brunsdon of his Harm Reduction Heroes portraits and the other was the work of Canadian photography (and HIT Hot Topics speaker) Aaron Goodman.
As mentioned this event preceeded the HIT Hot Topics conference, if you'd like to see the presentations from the conference you can find them on HIT's website.
